PROJECT

About Project

“Act & Art for Positive Social Change” project promotes social inclusion and aims to improve the outreach to disadvantaged and marginalised groups, such as people with a migrant background, refugees, and other underserved communities that face the struggles of social exclusion. The project seeks to address the barriers faced by these groups and to create inclusive environments that foster equity and equality and respond to the needs of the wider community.

The project aims to equip youth workers with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage young people in positive social change activities. It also seeks to create an environment where young people feel safe, secure, and supported, and where their voices and perspectives are heard.

The project focuses on three key topics: 1) the quality and innovation of youth work, 2) the reception and integration of refugees and migrants, and 3) creativity, arts, and culture. By looking at how creativity and youth work can contribute to the social inclusion of young people with migrant and refugee backgrounds, the project aims to make a positive impact in our communities. The following outputs will be produced: an assessment report, a training programme, a special toolbox containing various Art & Creativity tools useful in youth work, and an online platform.
