EDI hosted the Act & Art Dissemination Event organized in collaboration with the Association Initiative Pour La Solidarité Avec Les Réfugiés et Les Immigrants (AISRI), brought together a diverse group of participants dedicated to promoting social inclusion. AISRI, renowned for its international work and policy-making capacity, played a crucial role in reaching our target audience. The event was held with the participation of 32 individuals from varied backgrounds, including refugees and migrants, youth workers from NGOs, university representatives, trainers, teachers, social workers, and researchers. In total, nine different institutions were represented, with some participants attending individually.
The event began with EDI providing an overview of the project, followed by a session introducing the key outputs—Needs Analysis, Training Program, Toolbox, and Online Platform. Participants learned how these tools could be applied in their professional and personal lives. Young attendees then shared their personal stories of inclusion through art and culture. Ongu from EDI, along with Berfin and Jakub from AISRI, highlighted the therapeutic impact of arts and culture on social inclusion and addressed questions from the audience.
