he “Act & Art for Positive Social Change” project promotes social inclusion and aims to improve the outreach to disadvantaged and marginalised groups, such as people with a migrant background, refugees, and other underserved communities that face the struggles of social exclusion. The project seeks to address the barriers faced by these groups and to create inclusive environments that foster equity and equality and respond to the needs of the wider community.

Project

The aim of the Act&Art project is to increase the competencies of youth workers in inclusion.

Act&Art Project consortium consists of 5 countries and 7 partners.

Results

For Positive Social Change project has 4 main Project Results within its framework.

Project Result I

This document reports on the results of Needs Assessment Workshops implemented in all partner countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Slovenia, Turkey), and the Needs Analysis Questionnaire. The report combines qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Project Result II

ACT & ART TRAINING Is a 6-day international pilot training program held in Slovenia from February 20 to February 25. This is a unique opportunity for 28 youth workers from Turkiye, Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, and France to come together and explore Art and Creativity as tools for youth workers.

Project Result III

One of the objectives of our project is to produce an Act & Art Toolbox using existing/innovative tools, workshops, and practices to ensure social inclusion of refugees/immigrants and disadvantaged youth through art & creativity, to be used in the capacity building training program and in youth work in general.

Project Result IV

Act & Art Online Platform will be an open-access and free of charge platform for youth workers to learn about and access all results produced within the framework of our project. It will be a platform for both youth workers and people in our target group to reach information and increase their capacities.

Act&Art For Positive Social Change

T

he aim of the Act&Art For Positive Social Change project is to increase the competencies of youth workers in inclusion, non-formal education and digital youth work and support their professional development to ensure the social integration of young migrants and refugees through art. The objectives of the project;

To ensure the cooperation of 7 institutions from Slovenia, Belgium, France, Germany and Turkey for 18 months, to ensure the development and transfer of good practices for the social inclusion of refugees/immigrants and disadvantaged youth, to improve the scope of their work in this field

To carry out field research to determine the needs and wishes of youth workers and contribute to youth work and other projects to be carried out in this field from now on

Producing a 48-hour capacity building training program to develop the knowledge and skills needed by youth workers to ensure social inclusion of refugees/immigrants and disadvantaged youth through art and creativity
