2 Dissemination Events in Toulouse and Nice, France by Les Créatives! – 28 & 29 February 2024
Les Créatives de Demain has hosted 2 dissemination events in Toulouse and Nice, France.
On 28 February 2024, a dissemination event at the premises of Ecole Horizon Linguistique (address: 2 Chem. du Pigeonnier de la Cépière, 31100 Toulouse, France) to introduce the outputs and the Project Act&Art was held successfully with a total of 8 participants.
The participants of the activity were the students of the Ecole Horizon Linguistique which is a Language School for international living in France and help them with social integration and adaptation.
The School’s activities aligning with the project and their students being internationals who are new to France and are adapting to every aspect of life presented a great opportunity to share the Act & Art project with a highly interested and motivated group!
We started the day with an introduction of our organisation, introduced the Act & Art project in detail and then went on to discuss each of the 4 outputs, namely; Needs Analysis Report, Training Program, Toolbox and the Online Platform in depth and show the outputs to the participants.
We have also tested and implemented a shorter version of one of the Tools that we have produced within the scope of the project. We implemented a short version of the ‘Intercultural Dialogue’ with the participants before a quick closing session and evaluation.
On 29 February 2024, a second dissemination and introduction event was held in Nice, France with 7 participants. The event was held with internationals living in Nice and locals’ attendance.
This group consisted of mostly academics from different departments of Côte d’Azur University. From departments such as the students department, social studies, project department.
The group was introduced to all 4 outputs of the project. The participants were really interested in the Needs Assessment Report and after the initial introduction of the project and its results and outputs, a more specific session was held for the Report to be examined.
After this session, a short Q&A session was held and the event was finalized.
